Tackling Violence is a NSW Government community education, early intervention and prevention program funded by Women NSW using men’s involvement in sport as a platform to change attitudes and behaviours towards family and domestic violence. The program is underpinned by a Code-of-Conduct committing Clubs and their individual representatives to refrain from perpetrating family and domestic violence. Clubs also participate in a family and domestic violence education workshop delivered by the Education Centre Against Violence (ECAV) and support broader community awareness campaigns through social media and other communication channels.
