::::: RATS OUT FOR 11th WIN UNDER LIGHTS ::::
The third test this Saturday has meant LAST MINUTE CHANGES TO MATCH TIMES this weekend as we head into Round 13 of the Magner's Shute Shield. This week the RATS retain home ground advantage as they welcome Eastern Suburbs to RAT PARK for the highly anticipated second clash against the Beasties with an 11th win for the RATS up for grabs.
With both sides banking wins on Saturday this should make for an interesting battle. Easts have been somewhat inconsistent this season, however were boosted with the appearance of some S15 Waratah talent over the weekend that saw them win convincingly over a struggling West Harbour. At stake for the RATS – their 2nd ranking on the Shute Shield ladder behind Northern Beaches rivals Manly. A loss will more than likely see them relegated to third so we can expect the RATS to come out swinging and hungry for a repeat of the first round clash against Easts that saw them take the first win.
This weekend the RATETTES will also be playing at RAT PARK this Saturday – they will be kicking off EARLY AT 11AM against University. For the reigning premiers, its a chance to bury Saturday's loss and get their campaign back on track.
For the men's competition MATCHES WILL BE PLAYED LATER with 4th grade kicking off at 3.00pm with the 1st XV clash commencing UNDER LIGHTS AT 7.15 PM. To keep the hunger at bay and the drinks flowing, the CANTEEN, ELLY BENNETT BAR and ROAMING CAFE will all be open for business! Don't want to miss the test? NO WORRIES!! We will have the test on the WIDE SCREEN TV in the club house so you won't miss a thing.
Meanwhile the COLTS will be making the trek back across the bridge for the second week in a row to face Easts at Woollahra Oval. After a struggle on the weekend, the COLTS will be looking to get some points under the belt. COLTS 3's get proceedings underway at 10.20 AM with the Colts heading back to RAT PARK after the C1 clash to cheer on the 1st XV.
This Saturday is also FRESHSTART LADIES DAY at RAT PARK, with some great prizes, auctions and courtyard stalls on hand for the girls to enjoy! All the fun of FRESHSTART LADIES DAY kicks off from 4PM, if you sign up for WOW you also get to view all the action on the grounds from the box seats. After 1st XV, join us in the clubhouse after the game for LIVE MUSIC, drinks and some great munchies from Sundweesh! It's going to be a cracker day…..DON'T MISS IT!!
