It`s with a very sad heart that I let you know that David Gritching lost his battle with cancer yesterday. David lived all his life locally, playing for Wakehurst as a mini, junior and subbies player, he played in the best Wakehurst rugby team ever put together going undefeated from the under 10`s to under under 18`s in the A comp back in the 1980`s, he then coached his son`s team through the Mini`s and Juniors and then coached the Wakehurst Subbies team. David was a very loyal Wakehurst Club member, a couple of photo`s of David and his Junior team, under 14`s Fiji tour in 2008, photo of David and his best mate Mark and his Subbies team.
