Day 2 State Champs Update
The website is finally updated – tough work this rugby admin 🥵
🏉 Two days in and the main point I want to make is that the host clubs have done such a wonderful job – please make sure you go up and thank them for being such gracious hosts….

Host clubs Hunters Hill Rugby Union Football Club & Luke McCormack, Camden Rugby & Richard Olds /Phil Holder, Emus Rugby Club Ltd & Penny Fisher & Kerryn Phillips, Dubbo Junior Rugby Club Inc & Jason Blake, West Harbour Junior Rugby & Philip McCrea / Peter Johnston, Narrabeen Tigers Junior Rugby Club & James Walmsley. (Apologies if i missed anyone – i am rather tired 😴)
🏉 Personally i have seen most host venues so far – a road trip from Sydney to Dubbo via Orange (Fri), then Dubbo to Orange and then Sydney (Sat), Hunters Hill to Camden and back (Sun) means i have done roughly 1000km this State Champs – still Monday to come 🚗 They have all been fantastic and welcoming and i commend each and every venue.
🏉 I appreciate that the stakes are getting higher – but that is no excuse for poor behaviour from players, coaches and spectators… Yesterday’s warning still remains and if your own Ground Marshalls cannot curtail your spectators then it would be a sad day indeed to have a team expelled from the State Champs because of their own supporters bad behaviour.
🏉 Unbelievably I have to say again – do NOT send emails from coaches / managers / spectators – ALL correspondence is thru your Zone or District President. All other interactions will be ignored.
