Sport Australia is offering grants of up to $5,000 per school to run an after-school sporting program that introduces children to grassroots sports and connects them with their local sporting club.<\/p>\n

OVERVIEW
\nSporting Schools Club Connect (Club Connect) aims to enable primary schools to build on their involvement in the Sporting Schools program by establishing and building on relationships with local sporting clubs. <\/p>\n
Eligible schools can apply for a grant of $5,000 (GST exclusive) to deliver an out of school hours sport program by engaging a Club Connect partner sport. Grants will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.<\/p>\n
The focus of the initiative is to support primary school students to transition from a school-based sporting program to participating at their local sporting club, promoting a lifelong engagement in sport. <\/p>\n
Club Connect activities can be run over Terms 1 and\/or 2, 2022.

\n\u2022 Applications close: 5 November 2021, 5pm AEDT (applications may close early if the funding allocation is exhausted)
