In 2016, Rugby 7s was played at the Olympics for the first time.<\/p>\n
The Australian Women\u2019s team, won the gold medal while the Australian Men\u2019s 7s team also put in a commendable performance. Their combined success at international level has increased interest and participation in Rugby 7s.<\/p>\n
Rugby 7s is a unique, faster, modified 15s rugby game that allows for a quick outcome finishing in just 14 minutes of play. Sydney Rugby Union has seen the number of players enjoying this game sky rocket in the last few years.<\/p>\n
As the name implies, there are only 7 players per team on the field at any one time. The game is fast and exciting and played by all ages and abilities.<\/p>\n<\/div>
The number of competitions available for Boys and Girls to play Rugby Sevens in Sydney grows every season. As well as opportunity to play in regional tournaments and against touring teams.<\/p>\n<\/div>
