Today was a real try fest. With score 47 to nil, it was a real one sided game and a good run for the team to show some great offensive capabilities. Thank you to Grant Westbury who was our AR today and helped set up the field for the game.

Great effort from our try scorers today –

3 x Oliver Owens, 2 x Mitchell Gilligan, 1 x Sean Parkinson, 1 x Dean Richards, 1 x Steven Wilson and 1 x Curtis Kinster-Smith

We had several attempts for conversion today, only Jai Kocass was able to get his name on the score sheet. Well done Jai.

Man of the match today to Curtis Kinster-Smith for his fantastic try and good running with the ball and calls in the backline driving play. Sean Parkinson was awarded the encouragement award for his solid runs, tackling and being the there in support. The try he scored was on the back of some hard work from Marcus Papallo who fell just short of the line with Sean picking up the ball to reach out and put it over the for a 5 pointer. Sorry Marcus, maybe next week!

Impressive running from Flynn Westbury today making several breaks using his speed and agility. Great defence today from Kai Shepherd and Mitchell White to keep a clean sheet on the wings. A special mention to Ben Parsons for his basketball hook like pass that looked like a real 3 pointer opportunity with the ball going to the other team, but he cleaned up the turnover with a great pushover on the sideline.

Great work from Joey Polidano for driving the boys around in the first half and some great tackles in defence. The engine room, Caid Anderberg and George McKee were strong again in defence and provided good leading runs for the team today. Impressive running and breaks from Sam Alonso and Luke Hall today, the quiet achievers who provided some great attacking opportunities for the team to score points today.

Some interesting Stats starting to show. in two games we have scored 15 tries. 8 of which are in the forwards, with 5 to Oliver Owens. Oliver and the rest of the forwards are leading the way and laying down the gauntlet. This week test will be very interesting against Wakehurst who have had a few key players out over the last 2 weeks.
