One of the highlights was a blistering try by Harry Jones who bounced five Wicks defenders as he moved across the field to land across the chalk and push the Rats into the lead.
The RATS will be the sole representatives for the northern beaches after last year's minor premiers Manly were knocked out of finals contention after a tough clash against Norths.
