Former RATS and legends of the Club, together with staff, club sponsors and volunteers rallied around the RATS last night as the teams returned to training in preparation for this Saturday's clash against the Emus. After an emotional few weeks, spirits were high as the volunteers fired up the BBQ and the RATETTES rolled out the baked treats as everyone gathered in the courtyard. Despite the grounds being closed due to heavy rain earlier in the day, the RATS backs put in decent sessions in the gym while the forwards knuckled down under a solitary light to practice their set pieces outside. Meanwhile, although the lower grades will not play this weekend, the teams hit the road for a night time hill and road running session.
On behalf of the Club we wish to thank everyone who turned up last night to support the RATS as they get back to playing this weekend. Don't forget this Saturday is our Charity Round and there will be plenty of action on and off the field to keep everyone entertained as we celebrate the life of our team mate LACHLAN WARD. We hope to see you all there! 📷Red Bandana / Karen Watson. #warringahrats #warringahrugby #ratsrugby #rats #ratpack #rugby #shuteshield #training
